Answers to common questions

We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.

Are Pets Allowed?

At this time, we do not allow pets. Service animals are welcome, however, proper certification must be provided prior to arrival at the resort. 

Can I Bring My Own Boat? Is There A Boat Ramp?

Guests are allowed to bring their own watercraft to our resort (Boats, Jet-Skis, Kayaks, Canoes, etc.) We have plenty of overflow parking on our property.
Guests assume all risk liability in the unlikely event any damage should occur.
There is not a boat ramp on the property, but there is a public boat launch located approximately 5 minutes from us!

Do the Cabins Have WiFi?

Our internet is reliable satellite WiFi with a small bandwidth. It’s fast enough for email, work, internet searches, or YouTube, but not suited for constant video streaming. It’s strongest near the clubhouse and boosted from there to all of our lake cabins.

Are The Cabins Waterfront?

Our cabins are located a very short walk (less than 2 minutes) to our private sandy beachfront. This area is exclusive to guests of our resort and includes picnic tables, chairs, and umbrellas. We also offer daily boat-rentals of kayaks, canoes, jet-skis, and paddleboards, that we will deliver right to the lake beach!

Do You Have RV Parking?

We do have two parking spots with hook-ups to accommodate RV’s but please note: these spaces are only offered to guests planning a large gathering (Reunion, Conference, Workshop) at our lake resort.
If you are looking for a nearby RV Park, we suggest Big Chief or HiLine.

Are There Camping Spots Available?

We do not. If you are interested in camping grounds, we suggest nearby Black Rock Park.

Is There a Minimum-Night Stay Required?

Yes, we require a 2-night stay for all cabin rentals throughout the year. During holidays, we require a 3-night stay.

Can I Rent a Day Pass Instead of a Cabin?

Unfortunately no, we do not give out day-pass access to our property. This includes the beach area.

Do You Have a Layout of the Grounds?

Can I Buy a Day-Pass?

No, we do not give out day-passes to visitors to the beach or our property. There is a 2-night minimum stay for guests.

What Time is Check-In?

You can check in to your cabins from 3-6pm.

What Happens if We Need to Cancel?

Cancellations require a 90 day notice prior to arrival in order to get a 50% refund of your deposit.

What’s Included With a Cabin Rental?

Cabins that sleep 4 are one room log cabins, sleeping 6 to 8 are two room log cabins, and sleeping 12 to 14 also two room log cabins.  All cabins have a private bathroom, kitchenette, and AC. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge/freezer, sink coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, and all the essentials. Bed linens are provided: sheets, blankets, pillows.

The kitchenettes have a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, coffee maker and filters, toaster, dishes, glasses, cups, bowls, a pitcher, tableware, a cutting board, dinette table and four chairs. No stove or oven so plan your meals accordingly (*Cabin 43 does have an oven). We also provide dish soap, trash bags and kitchen towels.

The bathrooms all have a shower. Please remember to bring your own bath towels, shampoo, soap and toiletries as none are provided. We do provide the toilet paper.

To enjoy the serenity of the Texas Hill Country, each cabin has an outdoor picnic table and charcoal grill. Please bring charcoal, lighter fluid and matches. Our resorts provide the BBQ tools.

Is There a Cleaning Fee for Large Groups?

We do not charge you a cleaning fee. When you check out, we ask that you take your trash outside to the trash bin and wash the dishes. You do not have to strip the beds, just pick up the trash and leave the dishes clean.

Are the Cabins Wheelchair-Accessible?

Unfortunately, the resort does not have wheelchair-accessible cabins. The accommodations within the cabins themselves are not ADA compliant.
