It’s no secret that the wineries of the Texas Hill Country are some of the best around. With several beautiful vineyards located within a short drive from our resort, Cedar Lodge is a perfect place to call your home base. Enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills while you sip on some of the best, award-winning wines Texas has to offer. A few of our favorite vineyards include:

Surrounded by rolling hills, Torr Na Lochs Vineyard is one of our top destinations for a relaxing afternoon. The vineyard, spanning three acres, rests on a gently sloping hill where they grow Syrah, Malbec, and Petite Sirah varieties. In the tasting room, you can enjoy a free wine tasting offered exclusively to Cedar Lodge guests. Fall Creek Vineyards

Located on the northwest corner of Lake Buchanan, just a short distance from Cedar Lodge Texas. Fall Creek Vineyards is another favorite of ours. The vineyard, established in 1975, is the oldest in the Texas Hill Country and, therefore, a must-visit.

As you approach the vineyard, you’ll drive along a beautiful tree-lined driveway before reaching the tasting room. After your tasting, head to the outdoor patio with a bottle of their award-winning wine. Enjoy an afternoon of rest and relaxation.
